High school basketball season is in full swing and so is our Starting 5 contest. At the end of the year, we'll name our top players based on your votes.

Here are just a few of the kids that caught our attention last week...

Poland senior Colin Reardon had 33 points against Niles. When the senior left the game in the fourth quarter, he had more points than the entire Red Dragon's team.

Emily Carlson from Lowellville had a team-high 18 points in the Rockets' Thursday night win over Jackson Milton.

Jalen Lowe from Ursuline High School had 14 points and 16 rebounds against Cardinal Mooney.

You can vote for, or nominate, a player you think is deserving of the Starting 5 by clicking here.
