The Lowellville girls suffered a heartbreaking overtime loss to Cuyahoga Heights Thursday during the Division IV Regional Semifinal.

The final score was 40-39. Ashley Moore netted 18 points for the Rockets and Emily Carlson scored 12 points.

Lowellville's loss occurred as the team was one-girl short. Sophomore guard Taylor Hvisdak broke her arm during last week's district semifinals, and was unable to play in this game.

Struthers is the only area girls team that remains in the regional tournament. The Wildcats are slated to play Hathaway Brown at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Barberton High School.
