Jared Turocy's bases loaded single in the bottom of the eighth inning drove home the game winning run as the Astro Falcons defeated OTN Performance 5-4 in game one of their Best of Three Class Big B playoff series. Game two will be played on Wednesday at 6 PM. Turocy also pitched a complete game for the win, as he struck out eleven. Shane Wagner had three hits, and Turocy and Tyler Royer added two hits each for the Astro Falcons. OTN had tied the game with a four run rally in the top of the seventh inning as a bases loaded walk scored the first run, then a two out two run single by Joe Sekula plated two more cutting the lead to 4-3. OTN then executed a double steal with Sekula stealing second and Wade Daniels scoring the tying run when the throw went to second base. Collin Bowser went the first seven innings for OTN on the mound, striking out five, and he added two hits. Gary Yemma suffered the loss.
