The Scrappers were unable to overcome a four-run, 1st inning deficit, falling to the State College Spikes, 6-1.  Scrappers pitcher Ryan Anthony gave up four runs, on three hits.  He walked two batters in the loss. 

State College scored another two runs in the 2nd inning, when Warren Harding grad Justin Byler singled to center field, scoring Brock Holt and Andy Vasquez.

The Scrappers finally got on the board in the 6th inning on a John Allman rbi single. 

Mahoning Valley drops to 7-4 overall.
