The Mahoning Valley Phantoms win game one of the Robertson Cup Championship Tournament, 4-2 over the Bismarck Bobcats at the North Iowa Ice Arena in Mason City, Iowa.
Stefan Salituro scored the game-winning goal and had two assists for the Phantoms. Brandon Saad added two goals of his own. David Chaney added three assists. Phantoms' goaltender Jordan Tibbett
made 22 saves.
The Phantoms take the ice again on Wednesday, meeting the North Iowa Outlaws in the second game of the five-day, four-game round-robin portion of the Robertson Cup Championship Tournament.
