Salem battled Poland in the Division II sectional finals Thursday night. The Quakers were victorious, 3-0.
Alexis Smith had 15 kills for Salem, while Cassie Davidson added 14 kills. Kayleigh Null dished out 20 assists, and Katherine Stiff had 21 assists. Smith, Davidson, Null, and Stiff each added two aces for the Quakers as well.
Poland was led by Aleah Hughes with 10 kills. Mackenzie Mulligan added 7 kills for the Bulldogs, and 4 blocks. Raeanna Hertz had 9 digs, and Arlia Duarte had 4 blocks. Poland finishes the season, 10-12.
Salem (23-1) advances to face Hubbard in the Division II district semifinals on October 24, following the 6 p.m. game of Canfield vs. Southeast.
