Lakeview tops Canfield 4-1 in the Division II boys' soccer district semifinals Monday.

With the Bulldogs leading 1-0, Lakeview's Zach Wolf tacked on another when his shot was tipped by the goalkeeper and still finds its way to the net.

Canfield got on the board in the second half, when Mike Thomas headed one in off the throw-in to cut the deficit to 2-1.

Lakeview had an answer all night. Matt Black tallied a pair of goals in the win for the Bulldogs.

Maybe they should of called the game like the referee did for the Poland Mooney girls game last night. The fields at Lakeview are unplayable and the lakeview coach has added to that condition by 'hosing' down. He should be ashamed of himself, I guess his team can't play fair, and that is why they beat Poland and Canfield. I will not deny they are good, but put them on a real field rather than a mud fest, then see how well they do.
