Mathews held off Youngstown Christian 51-50 in boys' high school basketball action Tuesday night.

The Mustangs were led by Zach Youngs who finished with 18 points. Cole O'Dell added 11, while Aaron Suchanels and Brandon Cetor each tallied nine points in the win.

Louis Lee led the Eagles with 20 points. DeVaughn Adams added 13, while Daylen Williams added 10.

Mathews travels to Badger Friday night, while Youngstown Christian takes on East.
