Wilmington Ends JFK's Playoff Hopes

Wilmington scored three first-half touchdowns, in a 34-6 victory over Warren JFK. After a muffed punt by Wilmington, the Greyhounds settled down, scoring on its first possession of the game. Anthony Derrick went right up the gut scoring from 15 yards out to put Wilmington up 7-0.

On the next drive for the Greyhounds, they converted three fourth and shorts to keep the drive alive. Gunnar Donati scored on a fourth and goal opportunity giving Wilmington a 14-0 lead. After an Anthony Derrick interception, quarterback Josh Tekac went to the air, finding Gunnar Donati wide open in the end zone for Wilmington's third score of the half.
