East and West Middlesex went down to the wire with the Panthers winning 68-66.
Deontay Scott put in a lay up with three seconds to play to give the Panthers the victory.
With the victory, East improves to 4-3 and will head to Brookfield, Friday, January 6.
With the loss, the Big Reds falls to 3-5. They will host Wilmington, Tuesday, January 3.
