Since beginning the year with a 1-3 record, the Blue Jays remain hot as they have now been victorious in six of their past eight games after downing Western Reserve, 42-31, Friday night in North Jackson.

The Jays (5-2, 7-5) are a half game ahead of Lowellville for first place in the Lower Tier due to the Rockets' game with the Bears being canceled due to the weather. Jackson-Milton returns to action on Tuesday when they travel to Mathews.

Western Reserve (3-3, 6-4) has lost three consecutive league games and are now two wins behind the leader. The Blue Devils will head to McDonald on Tuesday.
