The McDonald Boys Basketball has advanced to the Division IV District Finals, with a 78-46 win over Wellsville Monday night at Struthers.

Matthias Tayala led the Blue Devils with 20 points on the night, while Zach Puntel added 19.  Nick Rota and Devin Bansberg likewise reached double-figures with 15 and 10 points respectively.

Jeremy Carter led Wellsville with 13 points in the setback.

The Blue Devils will meet the winner of Tuesday's Semifinal matchup featuring Lowellville and Youngstown Christian.

The District Championship will take place Friday night at 7pm at Struthers Fieldhouse.
