Springfield entered Friday night in fourth place in Division V, Region 17 and needed a win to secure their right to a playoff spot in week 11. The Tigers would do their part, winning 41-6 in Hanoverton against United.

Nick Russell finished the night with 278 yards on 14 of 22 passing with three touchdowns plus another on the ground. Joey Ohlin was his leading target, getting six grabs for 123 yards and two scores.

Springfield will now wait to see who they will play in week 11.
