Struthers Too Much for Howland

Jake Jacubec scored 20 of his 29 points in the second half as Struthers defeated Howland 83-66. Dylan Schmidt added 23 points for Wildcats.

Brendan Cope had 27 to lead the Tigers.

Since December 16, Struthers has been victorious in eight of its last nine contests including tonight's win. The Wildcats extend their home win streak to five games. Struthers has not lost a league game since the 2008-09 season.

In their first meeting of the season, Struthers notched a 72-63 victory in Howland behind Jake Jacubec’s 32-point performance.

The Tigers were handed their first loss in seven tries on Friday night this season. The orange and black had their road record evened at 4-4.

Struthers will travel to Hubbard next Friday as Howland will host Canfield.
