Plenty of area high school football standouts officially made their college choices after signing National Letters of Intent Wednesday.

South Range Raider's tight end and captain, Dan Good, has committed to Walsh University. The 6' 4" 225 pound tight end caught 21 passes for 308 yards and 2 touchdowns last season. He also made 13 catches for 219 yards and 2 receiving touchdowns his junior year. That earned him first team ITCL and Quad County both years. Dan also has a 3.6 GPA.

Hickory Hornets' senior wideout Andrew Smith has chosen to play college football at Edinboro this fall. Last season, he finished with nine receptions for 209 yards, 201 yards rushing, and five total touchdowns. Smith also graded out at 98% blocking.

Boardman's Ryan Pollifrone has chosen to attend Ohio Dominican. The three-year letterwinner/team captain was a two-time All-Federal League selection, an All-Northeast Ohio pick, and helped lead Spartans to win over GlenOak and share of Federal League title as senior.

Ursuline linemen Ty & Troy Vazquez-Atkins are heading to play at Notre Dame College. The twin brothers finished with a blocking efficiency of 82% and 80% respectively for the season. The Irish offense accounted for 8,310 rushing yards over the past two seasons running behind them.

Hickory's Del-Warren Myers has chosen to attend Allegheny College, where he'll play college football for the Gators.
