Southington baseball beat Fairport, 5-1, Thursday in the Division IV District Semifinals at Euclid High School.

Brandon Ellis pitched a two-hitter for the Wildcats. Southington will play in the District Finals at 4:30 p.m. Friday against the winner of Thursday's Maplewood vs. Cuyahoga Heights game.
