Sharpsville scored three runs in the first inning as the Blue Devils defeated Franklin, 5-4, for the PIAA District 10 Class AA Baseball Championship at Jack Critchfield Park in Slippery Rock.

Kirk Scurpa's bunch now awaits for the PIAA State Tournament field to be announced.

Sharpsville is 15-5 as Franklin dropped to 13-8.
