Coach Mark Baia replaces Steve Beshara as McKinley’s head coach. Baia will have the services of Dakota Wagner who last year nearly averaged a double-double (9.1 ppg, 7.8 apg). Seniors Jake Hubbs and Corey Baia will return also. Hubbs played in 21 games registering 6.6 points and 2.4 rebounds. The younger Baia dished out 2.4 assists while posting a clip of 3.1 points per game average.
Sebring improved from their 9-12 record the year prior to 15-7 last winter. The Trojans hope to increase that win total; however, Sebring will have a rough road as the Trojans begin the 2011-12 campaign with five of their first six contests away from Sebring. They open up at Lordstown on Friday, December 2.
