Coming off of a 51-44 win over the previously unbeaten East Liverpool Potters on Tuesday, there was no let down in the Warriors Friday evening as they defeated rival Salem, 54-34. In the final contest of their four-game home stand, West Branch (4-4, 7-4) finished up by winning three of four.

In their first encounter of the season on December 9, the Warriors prevailed in double overtime 65-64 behind Drake Lohnes’ last-second tear drop in the lane.

Salem snapped a two-game losing streak on Tuesday when the Quakers upended Niles, 61-45. Salem (2-6, 5-7) currently has a 2-3 road record this year.

Next up for these two teams, Salem welcomes Marlington on Tuesday while West Branch heads to Carrollton.
