Salem Holds Off Wildcat Rally

The Quakers led at the half by a 26-12 score after a second quarter which saw Canton South only score 1 point. In the final frame, Salem held off a 21 point quarter by the Wildcats to eventually post a check in the win column, 57-51.

Ryan Bush led the way for Salem with 18 points, while Max Wolfgang added 10 points.

Salem improves their Northeast Buckeye Conference record at 2-3 and their overall mark to 4-4. Ryan Bush led the way for the Quakers with 18 points. Salem is set to host Alliance on Tuesday.

Canton South drops to 4-4 overall and 2-3 in the league. Armand Fontes took home game high honors with 24 points. The Wildcats will travel to Carrollton on Tuesday.
