Salem Advances to District Final

Salem has advanced to the Division II volleyball district finals with a 3-0 win over Hubbard Monday night at Boardman High School.

The Lady Quakers were victorious 32-20, 25-22, 25-18.

Alexis Smith led the way for Salem with 18 kills and 26 digs, while Cassie Davidson added 10 kills, 23 digs, and two aces. Keyleigh Null chipped in with 23 assists, with Katherine Stiff added 22. Lindsey Foster also had a strong night with two aces, 11 kills, and three blocks.

Salem advances to face Canfield in the Division II district finals Thursday at 7 p.m. at Boardman High School.
