The Hornets improve to 8-1 after their win Friday night over visiting Reynolds, 50-12. Hickory finishes off their regular season winners of four of five league contests. The Hornets enter the district tournament with four-consecutive wins. Last year, the Bees closed out their season schedule with five wins in a row.

Reynolds (0-5, 0-9) has lost thirteen of their last fourteen games. The Raiders have not defeated Hickory since September 23, 2005 (22-18). The Raiders will play host to Seneca next week.
