For the second year in a row, Neshannock  is off to a 2-0 start after their, 7-0, win over Serra Catholic this evening in the Lancers’ home opener. Neshannock had won last year’s encounter with the Eagles, 34-14.

Serra Catholic (0-2) has won just twice in their past twelve games since advancing to the WPIAL Playoffs in 2009. The Eagles have now lost five straight.

Serra will welcome the Buccaneers of Chartiers-Houston next Friday as Neshannock will play host to Sto-Rox in week three.
