The third time was not a charm for the Neshannock boys basketball team.

The Lancers fell short against Lincoln Park 70-53 in Friday's PIAA Quarterfinal matchup at Chartiers Valley.  The Leopards had won the two regular season meetings by a combined 21 points.

Neshannock was once again led by Bobby Nittinger.  The senior sank 6 three pointers to finish with 18 points, and he grabbed 10 rebounds on the night.  Nittinger finishes his high school career with over 1,000 points.

Bo Marinelli had 16 points for the Lancers and CJ Van Eman added 11 for the Lancers, who lose four seniors to graduation.

Neshannock finishes it's season with an 18-9 record.  Lincoln Park advances to the PIAA Western Semifinals with a 21-7 record to face Sewickley Academy.
