Sharpsville (10-0) vs. Farrell (6-4)
Wilmington High School

Our expectations were high last year. Unfortunately, we ran into Farrell.  -Sharpsville head coach Paul Piccirilli.

In one of the most anticipated games of this century in District 10, the Farrell Steelers ruined Sharpsville’s perfect season, 26-21, on October 22, 2010. Will Farrell steal Sharpsville's perfect season again this year?

Our goal this year and every year is to make the playoffs.  -Mercer head coach Pat McClearn

Prior to the start of the 2011 season, the Mustangs were viewed by their peers as one of the favorites to win the region with a senior class of 19 and having 17 starters back from last fall.

The Mercer Mustangs beat the West Middlesex Big Reds 42-6 just two weeks ago.

These guys have been with me for so long they know what to expect from me and what I need them to do. There's a lot of non-verbal communication that we can do that goes a long way on the field. -West Middlesex head coach Jason McElhaney

West Middlesex has had 3 District championships (2006, 2003, 2002). With the help of that non-verbal communication, will they add 2011 to that list?
