Tuesday's Boys' Basketball Preview
December 13th Games
Canton McKinley (2-0) at Warren Harding (1-0)
-Harding's senior forward Rashid Gaston scored 13 and grabbed 21 rebounds in the Raiders' season opening win over Lorain (52-38) on Friday.

Perry (0-1, 0-3) at Boardman (0-1, 1-1)
-Dayne Hammond, Spartans' senior, has averaged 14.5 points over his first two contests.

Canfield (1-1) at Lakeview (1-1)
-The home standing Bulldogs held onto win their opener at Struthers (61-58) last Tuesday but fell short to Beaver Local (60-53) three days later. Louie Novakovich leads the Bulldogs in scoring with a 13.5 average. This will mark Lakeview's home opener. Canfield needed all of Matt Yourstowsky's 19-points to get by Champion, 42-40, on Friday.

Beaver Local (1-2) at East Liverpool (2-0)
-The Beavers are coming off of a 60-53 victory over Lakeview this past Friday. East Liverpool is unbeaten so far and the Potters' senior Mow Mow Thompson has been a key to their success. Thompson is averaging 23.5 points for Nate Conley's bunch.

Brookfield (3-0) at Mathews (3-0)
-The Warriors have put together quite the resume with wins over Springfield, Pymatuning Valley and Warren Kennedy so far this season. Brookfield's Preston Sirochman has averaged 20.3 points as Jeremy Quinlan has added 18.3 points per game. Mathews is 3-0 after a 7-14 campaign last year.

Crestview (1-0, 2-0) at East Palestine (1-0, 1-1)
-Last season, these two teams finished with 10-plus wins in the Upper Tier and with a combined record of 31-11. The Bulldogs' Jacob Dicello was halfway to a quadruple-double in his last outing against United (14 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 5 steals).
