Mineral Ridge Volleyball Improves to 11-4

Mineral Ridge hosted Lordstown in volleyball defeating the Devils 3-1, (25-13, 25-27, 25-13, 25-19). McKenzie Garland led the way for the Rams with fourteen points, eight kills, and fourteen assists, while Lea Whitmer had seven kills and seventeen assists. Abby Riffee did her part for Mineral Ridge with five aces and seventeen digs, with Katie Fife adding seven kills and five blocks. Meghan Garland got in on the action with eight kills of her own for the Rams.

The Red Devils were led in points by Alison Hajnosz with eleven, while Sarah Cash had eighteen kills, and Kaitlynne Cassidy had nineteen blocks. Melody Taylor added a helping hand with thirty-two assists, and Jessica Morgan hit the floor with sixteen digs and one ace.

With the victory, Mineral Ridge improves to 11-4 on the season and 5-3 in the ITCL.

With the loss, Lordstown falls to 11-2, and remains unbeaten and 7-0 in their league.
