Notes: Since the beginning of the 2008 campaign, East has posted a 2-13 record in away games. The Panthers are 2-6 all-time versus teams currently in the All-American Conference. The last time East won a game against a Trumbull County school was on October 18, 2007 (def. Harding, 35-13).
Liberty Leopards
2009 Record: 4-6
Notes: Liberty has won their last six season openers by an average of 32 (31.5) to 11 (10.8). The Leopards lost their last two home games a year ago (Lakeview and Girard). Since Liberty’s 14-6 playoff loss to Cardinal Mooney in 2004, the Leps are 10-1 against schools from Mahoning County.
