Kennedy Catholic keeps their first place position in Region 1 following Friday night’s victory over Vision Quest, 73-56. The Golden Eagles have won six consecutive games as they improved their home record to 4-0.

Kennedy's Eagles jumped out to a 19-8 lead after the first eight minutes. Kennedy controlled the second frame to head to halftime up 36-23; however, the third quarter would be much different as Vision Quest came storming back. Kennedy was outscored in the third, 20-14.

KC resumed their grip on the game in the final stanza as the Eagles notched their ninth win of the season by knocking off Vision Quest, 73-56. Mac Hartman and Ken Fill scored 17 and 16 respectively for the Eagles.

Kennedy (3-0, 9-3) will play at Commodore Perry on Tuesday.

Since beginning the season with an 0-4 mark, Vision Quest (1-2, 5-6) had won five of their last six prior to Friday night’s loss. Darrian Brown led Vision Quest with 31 points. The 6'2 senior is averaging 19.7 points following Friday's game. Since December 28, Brown has scored 30-points or more three times. The boys from Franklin will head to Jamestown on Tuesday.
