Canfield registers their first AAC American Division victory over Hubbard, 49-39. The Cardinals (1-3, 4-6) had lost four of their previous six contests. The city of Canfield will get ready for their showdown against their 224 rival Poland on Friday.
Hubbard (0-3, 2-8) has lost seven of their last eight games. With Friday night’s setback, the Eagles matched their loss total from last year (13-8). Hubbard had defeated Canfield two of their past three meetings prior to Friday night. The Eagles will try and get back on track when they head to Lisbon to take on Beaver Local next Friday.
