Nate Conley is expected to be named the next head basketball coach of East Liverpool tonight at the school board meeting. East Liverpool's Jack Cunningham had recommended the 2001 Potter graduate for the position late last week.
Conley had spent the past three years serving as an Assistant Head Coach at Geneva under Jeff Santarsiero. Conley was a four-year starter for the Golden Tornadoes between the years of 2002-06.
The Potters finished the 2009-10 season with a 7-11 record. After three years at the position, former head coach Matt Cashdollar stepped down at the conclusion of this past campaign.
