East has won four straight games following Friday night’s 48-45 victory over Ursuline. The Panthers (8-4) are now 5-2 against area opponents. East will prepare to welcome Youngstown Christian next Friday.
The Irish have competed against one of the most grueling schedules in all of Division III basketball with contests against the likes of Akron East, Northwest, Massillon, Bedford, Malvern, Sharon and now the Panthers. Ursuline (7-5) has lost three of their last four. UHS will travel to Akron again to take on the 3-7 North Vikings next Friday.
