The Raiders rebounded well after their last second overtime loss to East Palestine (77-75) on Tuesday to roll by Columbiana Friday night, 84-33. South Range led at intermission by thirty, 43-13.
The Raiders had four players in double figures, led by Andy Lacefield's 16-point performance. Jordan Baker added 14, Tyler Beverly scored 13, and Brandon Pluchinsky chipped in 12 for the Raiders.
Columbiana's Jake DeJong had a team high 16 points for the Clippers.
South Range improves to 8-3 overall and 5-2 in the Upper Tier. The Raiders’ three losses this year were by an average of 4-points. Next Friday, South Range will make the trek to Springfield to take on the Tigers on the MyValleySports.com High School Basketball Game of the Week.
Columbiana (1-6, 1-10) has now lost ten straight games away from home. The Clippers' last road win came against Mineral Ridge on January 28, 2011, 53-37. Columbiana finishes up their three-game road swing at Brookfield on Tuesday.
