2009 Record: 15-0
Notes: Since 2003, the Cardinals have won six of their seven season openers (only loss in 2008 to Mentor). Over the last thirty-nine regular season games, Mooney is 37-2. The Cardinals have opened up against a Division I school each year since 2007 (Mentor in 2007 & 2008, Boardman in 2009, and Pickerington North in 2010). Mooney graduated four players who were named to the All-Ohio First-Team Division III (Braylon Heard, Ray Vinopal, Zach Larson, Mark Brandenstein).

2009 Record: 8-4
Notes: One year ago, the Panthers stumbled out the gates to a 2-3 mark. However, North High School finished the year by winning six of their last seven to qualify for the playoffs. Panther senior center Alex Huettel (6’4, 282 lbs) has verbally committed to Bowling Green.
