Mooney's Vinopal Headed to Duquesne

Amy Vinopal, a center/mid-fielder on the Cardinal Mooney girl’s soccer team, has announced her plans to sign a Division I National Letter of Intent to play soccer at Duquesne University.

Vinopal, who was named Division II “Player of the Year” in Ohio scored 26 goals and had 25 assists for the Cards this year. In addition, she was named to the “All State” and All-County” teams and was named Vindicator “Player of the Year” and “Fall Athlete of the Year”.

Amy is the daughter of M/M Charles Vinopal of Boardman and coached by Frank Sikich.
