The Canfield Cardinals halted a 7-game losing streak and avenged a previous 7-5 loss to Brush with a 4-1 victory, Sunday, in non-league high school hockey action at the Ice Zone.

Canfield senior captain, Ryan Ohara scored 2 goals and assisted on one while freshman Braden Falkingham picked up two goals for the Cardinals (4-18). Sophomore, Nick Crescimanno, added two assists and senior goaltender, Roger Geiser, stopped 15 of 16 in the net for the win. Canfield hosts Chagrin Falls, Wednesday, at the Ice Zone, with puck drop at 5:30 p.m.
