Boardman Drops 5th in a Row

Lake streaks past Boardman, 60-43, to gain their eleventh victory of the season. Tom McBride’s bunch is currently in first place of the Federal League with a 6-1 conference record.

Dayne Hammond was the lone Spartan in double-figures with 18 points for Boardman in the loss. Jamar Steverson added eight for the Spartans.

In their first meeting on December 9, Lake registered a 50-36 home win over the Spartans. Boardman’s Dayne Hammond posted a season-high 15 points.

Lake began the season at 9-0 before losing to Massillon Jackson last Friday, 48-43. The Blue Streaks (6-1, 11-1) will host Hoover on Tuesday.

Boardman (1-5, 3-8) has lost five straight with a showdown at Perry on the horizon.

sorry, that was correct. read it incorrectly first time. its odd but he always plays his best against Lake.
