The Champion softball team claimed a Division III Sectional title with a 19-1 win over LaBrae Wednesday afternoon.
Sierra Blackson drove in four runs on three hits for the Golden Flashes in the win.
Pitcher Kayla Hunt, who improves to 6-0 on the season, struck out six batters allowing just two hits. She also collected three hits at the plate.
Champion returns to action Tuesday May 17 against Wickliffe. First pitch is set for 4:30 p.m. from Jefferson's JAGS Fields.
