Badger will have to replace four seniors including the scoring output of John Moy, who graduated last spring. Moy led the team in scoring (16.8 ppg), assists (3.1 apg), steals (2.4 spg), free-throw percentage (75.8%), and three-point shooting (38.6%). The Braves return senior forward Kenny Bolyard, who led Badger in rebounding (9.8 rpg) and finished second in points per game (12.6). Junior guard Matt Kraml is back as well after enjoying a productive 2010-11 season. Number 12 dished out 2.6 assists per game and shot 36.8% (25-68) from three-point land.
The Braves saw major improvement from two campaigns ago where Badger closed out the year with a 2-19 record. Last year, Badger finished with a 5-8 mark in the Northeastern Athletic Conference and a 10-12 overall record.
Eight freshmen were on the junior varsity roster in 2010-11 which is a good sign to see that many young players receiving the experience necessary to become varsity-ready players.
