Howland Notches Two 2nd Half Goals to Defeat Poland

Howland girls soccer remains undefeated in league play for the 7th straight year, defeating Poland, 2-1.

The Lady Bulldogs jumped out to an early 1-0 lead on an unassisted Tatum Marucchi goal.  The score remained 1-0 through the first half.

Howland tied the game in the 2nd half, on freshman Heather Seagraves first career goal.  Olivia Nicholas assisted on the goal.  Later in the 2nd, Howland scored the winning goal on a shot by senior Abby Keul.  It was also Keul's first career goal.  Nicholas and Jessica Wilson assisted.

Goalkeeper Abbie Frank recorded 5 saves for Poland.  Howland's goaltender, Erika Nites, notched 7 saves.

Poland drops to 11-2-2 (2-2-2) and Howland improves to 11-3-1 (5-0-1).
