Austintown Fitch eliminates Howland from postseason play with a 1-0 overtime victory. The Falcons' goal came off a corner kick by Tori Koch with 3:23 remaining in overtime. The ball appeared to be headed by Howland's Gina Wall, and then redirected into the goal by Fitch's Emily Durina.
Howland's Erika Nites recorded four saves, while Fitch's Ali Tolich notched eight saves on the night.
Fitch improves to 12-4-2 and advances to the District Tournament.
Howland's season ends with a record of 11-4-2.
