Canfield senior Kendyl Carlisle has been named to the National Soccer Coaches' Association of America's (NSCAA) 2011 Girls' High School Scholar All-America team. She is one of only 35 girls nation-wide to be so honored.

This past fall, Kendyl was a team captain/4th year letter-winner for Coach Phil Simone's Lady Cardinals, who were Division II district champions. She was named the 2011 team MVP, earned All-Conference (AAC), first team All-Mahoning County and second team All-Ohio honors for her play.

Kendyl has a 4.0 GPA and is tied for first in her class academically. At Canfield High School, she is a member of the National Honor Society, Young Leaders service club and the Drama club. She and her older sister, Katie (a former Canfield soccer stand-out now playing women's soccer at Notre Dame College), are the daughters of Douglas and Kristin Carlisle.
