Canfield senior Audrey Smith will sign a "letter of intent" Wednesday to Kent State University.
An accomplished soccer player, Smith followed in her older sister, Jessica Smith's, footsteps and played for a host of local youth teams before and while playing for her high school. At Canfield, she was a four year letter-winner and captain of the team her senior year.
In the past year, Smith was selected first team All-County, first team All-AAC, first team All-District, first team All-State, district Player Of The Year and the Vindicator's Female Soccer Player of the Year.
A 3.34 GPA student, Audrey plans to major in Fashion Merchandising at KSU.
