The Canfield Girls Soccer team advanced to the Division I Regionals following a 3-0 win over Poland Thursday night. Meredith Gleichert tallied a pair of goals on the night, while Jenne Battaglia netted the other. Goalkeepers Jackie Podolsky and Kelly Fening collaborated on the shutout victory. Podolsky finished with five saves in the win, while Fening added four.
The Cardinals return to action Wednesday November 4th against the Chardon District winner. Wednesday's kickoff is slated for 7pm at Twinsburg High School.
