Struthers girls basketball standout Dana Mathews accepted a two-year full ride to Owens Community College near Toledo.
The Wildcats' sharpshooter led the All-American White division in scoring with better than 17 points per game. For the season, Mathews connected on 42 percent of her shots from outside the three-point arc in leading the Lady Wildcats to an appearance in the Division II regional finals.
Mathews scored more than 1,400 career points and 300 career assists during her tenure at Struthers. She was also a member of myvalleysports.com's Starting 5.
