Marissa Carry's basket with under a minute to play in regulation gave Farrell the edge it needed to outlast Kennedy Catholic, 49-48. The win gives the Steelers the Class A, District X Title. D'Asia Chambers led Farrell with 24 points. Carry chipped in 13 in the winning effort. Kennedy Catholic, which has no seniors or juniors on the team, was led by sophomore Victoria Harrison with 15 points. Freshman Rachel Burns added 12 points.
