Hubbard Eagles
2009 Record: 10-2
Notes: Hubbard last defeated the Bulldogs on September 1, 2006 (at Poland, 29-24). The Eagles have stumbled out the gate by losing their last five season openers. Since 2005, Hubbard hasn’t faced a team in the opener who finished with less than 7 wins during that season. The Eagles have advanced to the playoffs the last four years.
Poland Bulldogs
2009 Record: 10-3
Notes: The Bulldogs have entered week seven undefeated each of the past two seasons. Poland is 18-4 at home since their loss to Hubbard on September 1, 2006. The Bulldogs have lifted the lid on the season with a victory the past three years. Poland has qualified for the post-season the last three years.
