Notes: Grove City has won their region the last two seasons. The Eagles were 3-3 after week six in 2009, then they accumulated four wins in the next four weeks to enter the District 10 playoffs with a 7-3 mark. Grove City has won five conescutive openers.
Erie East Warriors
2009 Record: 5-4
Notes: Last year saw the Warriors finish the season with a winning mark for the first time since 1981. In 2009, East began the season with a 3-1 record (only loss was against Grove City, 22-19, in week two). East lost their quarterback Gary Brown to graduation.
