At 8-1, the Spartans will host their first matchup of the WPIAL Class A Tournament on November 6 (7:30 PM) against Burgettstown (4-5). Laurel hasn't won the WPIAL Championship since 1980 (Class A). The winner will face the victor of the Bethlehem Center (7-2) and Serra Catholic (7-2), the 2007 Class A Champion, contest the following week. The WPIAL Class A Championship will be played on November 27 at Heinz Field.
