Former Ursuline football coach Dan Reardon has accepted a head coaching position with Poudre High School located in Fort Collins, Colorado. It is close to Colorado State University.

The school has an enrollment of close to 2,000 students. According to MaxPreps.com the Impalas finished the 2011 season with a 2-8 record.

Reardon and his family are relocating to Colorado due to personal reasons.

"New geography, same expectation. I expect to be in the playoffs," stated Reardon. "I expect to compete for state championships and try to bring that Northeast Ohio flavor to Northeast Colorado."

Reardon was Ursuline's head coach for the last eight seasons. During his tenure, he led the Irish to a total of 72 victories, winning three-consecutive state titles in 2008, 2009 and 2010.

This fall, Ursuline finished with a record of 4-6, playing one of the most competitve schedules in the entire state of Ohio.

Longtime assistant Larry Kempe was hired to take over for Reardon.
